The Counted Breath
I just returned home from Delhi, India yesterday! I had the pleasure of working on some music over there with an artist known as KSHMR. I became inspired to do a traditional type of pranayama (breath control) meditation this week. The meditation is a counted breath meditation. When we count our breath it helps to focus our awareness on this simple task allowing us to let go of thoughts and align with the present moment.
